I think this is what I'm trying to get at. Originally posted by Dcade:But to be honest, you should expect that from fighters, the only real advantage the AI has against you is relfex, and that's reflex towards your inputs. Having it read inputs while dropping combos and missing punishes (which it does ALL the time) is just misleading for new players that are trying to get a feeling for the game. I would think on "Hardest" (the hardest difficulty the game has to offer), the AI would utilize 19 hit combos instead of cheating, if for nothing else in order to prepare you for higher levels of play. But I I would hope that by now I would be able to detect cheating.and this feels like "it". Does it actually cheat by reading your inputs? I'd rather the AI get better at combos or punishes instead of cheating. I know the AI programming has to take a few "liberties" to keep up with human players, but like I said, it feels cheap. I'll input a move, and the SPLIT SECOND I input it, the AI starts a move that directly counters it. Is it just me, or does the AI cheat? On Hardest difficulty, the AI seems to read my inputs.
